Your safety and that of our staff is paramount here at Ohana Q. We are operating in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines and regulations. This includes the most current guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Restaurant Association, and Hawai’i Restaurant Association, as well as compliance with current Hawai’i Gubernatorial Emergency Proclamations, Hawai’i Department of Health requirements and Hawai’i County Mayor Emergency Rules.
WE ARE OPEN FOR TAKEOUT ORDERS ONLY
We have temporarily closed our on-premise seating. By limiting our food service operations to only take-out our food service operations are classified in the lowest risk of COVID-19 spread, according to the CDC. MONITOR EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND PERSONAL HYGIENE
- We conduct daily wellness checks to monitor and ensure our staff are healthy (no one works sick).
- Staff who present with potential symptoms are directed to stay home.
- Our staff are trained on best practices for personal hygiene.
- We provide easy access to staff hand washing and hand sanitizing stations.
FOOD SAFETY
- Our staff are trained to the highest standards in food safety.
- Our staff received training in COVID-19 Precautionary best practices.
SANITATION
- We have enhanced our already high sanitation standards to provide a safe environment for both our valued guests and staff.
- Frequent sanitizing of high-contact areas using EPA-approved disinfectants against COVID-19.
- Hand sanitizers available to guests and staff to support frequent handwashing.
- No shared menus. Digital menus are available on our website and via a QR Code on the trailer.
- Single-use disposable (and environmentally friendly compostable) flatware.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
- Staff wearing face coverings and gloves as required for safety.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
- Signage posted near trailer that supports customer flow and maintains appropriate social distancing.
- Limiting number of guests in party to no more than four.
EXPERIENCE
- You are welcome to call in your order ahead of time to reduce your wait time at the trailer.
WE NEED YOUR KOKUA TO CREATE A SAFE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU
- Please stay home if you are sick, have any signs of COVID-19 and/or have had known close contact with someone who has COVID-19.
- Use our customer hand sanitizing station at the order window.
- Please maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet while waiting in line or near the trailer.
- When waiting in line or near the trailer, please limit your party to no more than four people.
- Wear a face covering as directed by local and state government near the trailer.
- Leverage online menus and phone-ahead orders to help reduce contact. Technology is a great thing!
