This year COVID has forced all of us to change and adapt to new realities in ways many of us previously never considered. As we begin our third year in business serving both visitors and kama’aina of Hawaii Island alike, and with a holiday season approaching that will be different than any we’ve experienced before, we are thrilled and excited to announce the arrival of our Ohana Packs by Ohana Q – a brand and grand new way to enjoy our food in the comfort of your home!
Your Ohana & Community
Until now, the only way to enjoy the Southern BBQ hancrafted by our Executive chef, Richard, was to visit our food trailer. Now, you can bring home a fresh, piping hot ready-to-eat Ohana Q meal FEAST to enjoy with your ohana and friends with all of the convenience and comfort of your home.
Convenience is King
You can easily and quickly customize your Ohana Pack order online with just a few mouse clicks and keystrokes. Yes, it really is that EASY! Pick-up of your Ohana Pack is available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a Wednesday of your choosing from the Ohana Q food trailer in Kona. Depending on feedback from customers we may add additional pick-up days and/or times in the future as we evaluate the success of this pilot program.
Variety (is the spice of life)
In this pilot program, we are offering two types of Ohana Packs, each with your choice of one sweet and savory meat entrée, your choice of two comfort sides, your choice of BBQ sauce, and freshly home baked cornbread muffins. Depending on feedback from our customers, we may consider adding pastas such as smoked lasagna in the future.

Program details:
This is a pilot program. We will evaluate the program and we may decide to modify or discontinue it. We welcome your feedback.
- At this time, payment is by credit card only. (We are working hard in the background to establish online payment options!)
- Ohana Pack order requests are accepted online only, using the button link above.
- Deadline to place an order request is 8pm HST on the Monday prior to the order pick-up date. (For example, for a pick-up on Wednesday, November 11, the deadline to submit an order request is Monday, November 9 at 8 p.m. HST.)
- Capacity is limited. We may sell out of certain Wednesday pick-ups. When we do, we’ll remove that Wednesday pick up date from the order request form.
- Order pick-up is available only on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from the Ohana Q Food Trailer in Kona.
- Customers will receive an email confirming receipt of their Ohana Pack order request.
- Within one business day of receipt of the order request, an Ohana Q representative will contact the customer to confirm order details and collect payment information.
- Order changes and refunds are permitted until the order deadline (See #3 above.) After the order deadline has passed, refunds, exchanges, or changes to the order are NOT permitted.
